Bodiam Castle is the quintessential British medieval fortification. Nestled in the countryside of East Sussex, it was constructed in the 14th Century to defend against the French during the 100 Years War. The castle is surrounded by a deep moat and would have been a formidable sight to an attacking force. Exploring the grounds, I had a wonderful afternoon quietly shooting this magnificent historical relic.
